Marketing Consultants

As we prepare to launch our new business, most of the basic processes to start it is almost done — except for one thing.  Marketing.  Since all of us are not experts, we’ve decided to fill the gap and start our search for a marketing consultant.

I spent a full week and searched for experts in the field through LinkedIn and tapped my network for referrals. I managed to find 4 freelancers and 1 company.  

As expected, the company had its advantages and it’s easier to trust an organization than an individual (not unless that person is a close friend). More heads to work on the proposal is always a good thing.  As I wait for the proposal to be sent to me next week, I am expecting it to be expensive. I’d like to note the words the account executive used.  “…as we prepare to propose for your INVESTMENT.”  That word alone says everything.
